Approval timetable 

FIN-FSA will decide on the approval of a prospectus within 10 business days from submission of the application. However, the processing time will be 20 business days if the issuer's securities have not previously been offered to the public or admitted to public trading.

The date on which the application was filed is not included in the processing time.

If FIN-FSA finds that a prospectus is incomplete or if it needs to be supplemented with further details, the time will not begin until the date on which the compiler of the prospectus submits the missing information to FIN-FSA. FIN-FSA must inform the applicant of the incompleteness of the prospectus and of postponement of the start of the processing time within 10 business days from the filing of the application.

A prospectus may be published after it has been approved by FIN-FSA.

Approval of a prospectus and related exemptions, if any, are subject to a fee as prescribed in the FIN-FSA fee schedule.
